Getting your pet’s certificate or updating your contact details can be instantly and easily done for free on our web app.
Get Microchip Certificate
For Pet Medical Insurance, KUSA registration, emigration or for your own records you have access to your pet’s certificate. Your pet does need to be registered with Identipet for you to get a certificate through the app or on our Whatsapp number: 0823134068.
Update Details
It’s important to keep your contact details up-to-date, this is the only way a microchip can work. As soon as your pet’s microchip is scanned by a vet or welfare, you are immediately notified.

We charge an R89 admin fee for updating details for you. Give us 1 to 2 working days.
Change Ownership
This can be done in seconds if both parties have the Idenitpet app. The original owner can simply scan the QR code on the new owner’s family page.
Mark as Deceased
If one of your pets sadly passes on, please update your profile on the app and mark them as deceased. We can also do this for you through the form below, at no cost. We’re so sorry for your loss.
QR CODE REGISTRATION
When you get your pet microchipped you can register them on our database at the same time with your Identipet app, using the QR code on the microchip packaging.
It’s so quick and easy and ensures the correct details are added immediately. Then you can download the app for further pet management.
