Identipet (Pty) Ltd was proud to be an exhibitor at the South African Veterinary Congress, held at the International Convention Centre, in Cape Town during July 2004. The company focus was on our large RFID product range, as well as quality and professionalism.

The record registration of approximately 500 delegates, gave Identipet™ the ideal opportunity to "touch base" with the many existing clients, as well as to discuss products and services with the few veterinarians not already using Identipet™ microchips to their fullest potential.

It was of great benefit to meet with many of the visiting delegates from countries outside South Africa, and to accept invitations to strengthen the already existing ties, and markets in those countries.

Identipet™ put on display for the first time in South Africa its newest and most exciting product, the temperature sensing microchip with Bio-Thermo™.
This chip, apart from having the unique patented Identipet™ BioBond™ anti-migration cap, and displaying the animal's ID, is also capable of sensing (and displaying on the scanner screen) the animal's body temperature to an accuracy of 1/10th degree Celsius.
The full benefit of this Bio-Thermo™ microchip is in the monitoring of health, breeding and hospitalisation of animals.

During the congress, and while the veterinary delegates were hard at work in sessions and workshops, Identipet™ had the opportunity of networking with our veterinary market colleagues, as well as participating in some of the fun activities, that were a feature of this most successful and enjoyable congress.

Well done SAVA !!
